Our ‘Trainee Student Ballet Scheme’ provides additional ballet training and coaching for pupils who have reached Grade 3 Ballet standard and who are keen to maximise their progress.

Trainee Ballet students attend additional small ballet classes.The focus of these classes is on individual and personal development of ballet technique and artistry. Alongside these additional ballet classes, Trainee Ballet Students are also encouraged to take above standard ballet which allows them to gain new skills and develop technical strength.

Trainee Ballet students also assist in some of the classes for the younger children; this helps the students reinforce their basic technique whilst also often instilling an interest in teaching.

​

Past Trainee Ballet students have progressed onto professional careers in dance; either as dancers or teachers.
