Student Achievements
We are extremely proud of everything that all of our students achieve, both in dance and outside of dance. Here are just some of the achievements made by current and past students of the school.
Lauren
Lauren auditioned successfully to train for a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Dance at Liverpool Theatre School and started her training September 2022. Whilst training at Brsdance, Lauren was both a Northern Ballet Associate and a ‘bbodance’ Classical Ballet
Scholar.
Kiki
Kiki auditioned successfully to train for a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre at Liverpool Theatre School and started her training September 2022.
Ava
Ava auditioned successfully to be accepted onto the Northern Associates Dance scheme, which was due to start September 2022 (though the scheme has sadly now had to close). She has now been accepted onto the new KSDance Associates scheme as a Senior student, from January 2023.
Grace

Sophie

Amber
Amber was awarded the Norma Twidale Scholarship Award for 2023. This award gives Amber £100 towards additional ballet training for this year. This special award is in memory of Norma Twidale and was kindly donated by her family.

Lucy
Lucy has achieved her Level 4 Dance Teaching Diploma (2021) and Level 5 Dance
Teaching Diploma (2022) through ‘bbodance’
Sophie
Sophie was awarded the Norma Scholarship Award for 2022. This award gave Sophie £100 towards additional ballet training for this year. This special award is inmemory of Norma Twidale and was kindly donated by her family
Emma
Emma trained at KS Dance after moving on from Brsdance. She graduated with her Level 6 Diploma in Professional Dance in July 2022. She is currently topping this up to gain a BA (Hons) Degree in Professional Arts Practice with a year’s course at Italia Conti. Whilst training at Brsdance Emma was a Northern Ballet Associate and a ‘bbodance’ Classical
Ballet Scholar.
Libbi
Libbi is working at Pontin’s Brean Sands where she loves being an Entertainment manager and dance performer. Whilst training at Brsdance Libby was a ‘bbodance’ Jazz Scholar.

Grace
Grace is in her final year at Liverpool Hope University, studying towards a degree in Dance and Education.
Dempsey
Dempsey was the recipient of the ‘Norma Twidale Scholarship Award’ for 2021. This special award is in memory of Norma Twidale and was kindly donated by her family.
Rachel
Rachel Middleton (formerly Harris) is running her own dance school in Dundee. Rachel trained at Brsdance from age 3-18, achieved a degree in Dance from Leeds University and then her Level 6 ‘bbodance’ Teaching Diploma in 2019.
Congratulations go to Rachel on getting married in June 2022!
Bethany
Beth performed on the Costa Victoria cruise ship in Cherthala, India, Christmas 2019 (Pre-Covid). She trained at Northern Ballet School and gained her Professional Diploma in Dance. Whilst training at Brsdance Beth was a Northern Ballet Associate and ‘bbodance’ Classical Ballet Scholar
Nicola
Nicola graduated with a 2:1 degree in Dance from UCLan University.
Amy-Rose
Amy-Rose was the lead singer and dancer on the Oceania Line ship as part of Norwegian Cruise Line in 2019 (Pre-Covid). After training at Brsdance, Amy-Rose progressed on to Merseyside Centre of Dance and Drama where she gained her Diploma in Musical Theatre.
Melissa
Melissa completed her BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Dance, at Studio 76 at the end of the summer term 2020 gaining a double Distinction award.
Grace
Grace was accepted as a Northern Ballet Associate in 2019 and then as a ‘bbodance’ Classical Ballet Scholar in 2020.
