Progressing Ballet Technique

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is a body-conditioning and strengthening program that has been designed to enhance students' ballet technique by focussing on training muscle memory. Fitness balls are used alongside other equipment to help students understand and feel which muscles should be working in each exercise.

The main benefits of PBT are:

  • Improved technique and co-ordination

  • Stronger muscles

  • Increased flexibility

  • Improved posture

 

PBT is available to all students who are in Grade 2 ballet and above. These classes are taught by Hannah who is a Level 3 qualified PBT teacher.
